The UFO Files was started by FSDLK@acad3.alaska.edu and to a large extent this version of the FAQ is as he handed it over. The following is from the introduction he originally wrote and I feel still applies "I tried to keep a neutral stance when I researched many of the subjects covered in this site; however you may also notice that some of the material seem to be one-sided. When doing some of the research I may have only used one book or source, thus (as you may have noticed) some authors present information from only one point of view and this has a tendency to be carried over to this site, due to the lack of information on the subject from another point of view. (deep huh? well I hope to include more viewpoints as this site grows.) Also please when reading information from this site take everything you read here with a very large grain of salt. (rock salt) Even I don't believe all the information that I have included in this site. As I said its mainly a reference to help you out. If you find yourself interested in a UFO related subject, **DO RESEARCH** read books on the subject, dig into both sides, write letters to the authors and researchers ".
